Police in Dalbeattie are appealing for witnesses following a theft by housebreaking at Colvend Shop, near Dalbeattie between 8:30pm on 11 September 2020 and 0630 am on 12 September 2020.
Entry was gained and alcohol, cigarettes and food items stolen.
A police Spokesperson stated “The safe was also removed from the premises and was later found on the road between New Abbey and Beeswing. We are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who observed anything suspicious to get in touch. We are also appealing for anyone who may have dashcam footage to also get in touch on 101.”
