Police Scotland issued a video message this morning (14/04/17) in regards to the alleged Sexual attack of a young man on Brooms road, Dumfries last weekend.
The Statement said “Following an extensive investigation we are now satisfied that no criminality has taken place. We are no longer looking for anyone in relation to this incident.”

D&G Police also stated on their Facebook today “We would encourage you to share this post as the initial allegation was shared widely and understandably worried the public. This post should reassure our community they can continue to go about their business as normal.”
