POLICE SCOTLAND are appealing for witnesses after a black Kia Rio was discovered in crashed condition on the B724 (Annan low road) near Mouswald around 6:15 PM last night (Wednesday 29th).
The vehicle has crashed through a fence and into a small burn. A 53 year old local woman was freed from the vehicle by emergency services and taken to hospital with a serious leg injury.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who witnessed a 58 plate black Kia Rio being driven on the B724 around this time or witnessed the RTC.
