POLICE in Dumfries are investigating after a house in Calside Avenue in the town was broken into on Tuesday 15th January 2019.
The crime occurred between 3pm and 11pm while the property was unoccupied. A number of items of jewellry and a four figure sum of cash were stolen.
Police are keen to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the are on Tuesday afternoon and into the evening. Anyone with information should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3965 of 15th January 2019.
