CATCH THE NEW TITLE FROM CURLY TALE BOOKS

When a fiery little chilli pepper goes on the run it leads to fun filled mayhem on a Galloway farm in the new book from author and illustrator Shalla Gray.

The Kirkcowan based writer and artist has taken inspiration from the traditional tale of The Gingerbread Man to create a fantastic new story with fabulously colourful illustrations and words that parents and children will love to read.

The Galloway Chilli is the latest book from independent children’s publishing company, Curly Tale Books run by Jayne Baldwin and Shalla Gray who are the authors of two very popular ‘Beltie’ books, Big Bill the Beltie Bull and Big Bill’s Beltie Bairns.

Shalla was inspired to write the new story after meeting Sheena Horner who runs Galloway Chillies, producing a range of jams from her own home grown peppers. The new book, which finds the little chilli being hotly pursued by the farmer, a cat, a dog and a cow, is available now from independent bookshops, on line retailers or direct from www.curlytalebooks.co.uk
