POLICE Officers are investigating the theft of two chainsaws from Gatehouse of Fleet. Sometime between Wednesday 28 February and Tuesday 6 March 2018 two Stihl chainsaws were stolen from a farm near Gatehouse of Fleet. The saws were stolen from a shed and are valued at over £600.
Sergeant Greg Hawker at Castle Douglas said “we are keen to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything suspicious in the last week in the Gatehouse area. We want to hear about any strangers in the area or visitors that may have called in at local farms or houses for any reason. Callers can report information to us at Castle Douglas on the 101 number, quoting the reference PDG0047680318.”
