CIGARETTES STOLEN FROM ANNAN TESCO SUPERMARKET

POLICE Officers in Annan are seeking the help of the public following a break-in overnight to the Tesco supermarket in the town.

Sometime between 11pm on Monday night (24 June) and 5am on Tuesday morning (25 June) the store was broken into and a quantity of cigarettes stolen.

Sergeant Alan McGowan at Annan said “enquiries are at an early stage and it is unknown just now what the full extent of the property stolen is. We are asking anyone who may have been in the vicinity of the Tesco store overnight to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious, including unusual or strange vehicle activity in the area of the store or the car-park. Anyone with any information which might help in this enquiry is asked to call police on the 101 number quoting the reference number 0413 25/6.”
