Two Pensioners Injured In Collision With Telegraph Pole – Stranraer

POLICE SCOTLAND Report that at about 11.45am yesterday, Tuesday 13 November 2018, tow pensioners received minor injureis when involved in a one vehicle road traffic collision on the C2W road between castle Kennedy and New Luce, near to Chlenry.

A blue coloured Ford CMax car being driven by an 80 year old man from Lockerbie was in collision with a telegraph pole. The car ended up on it’s roof. The front seat passenger in the car, a 79 year old woman from Lockerbie was removed from the vehicle by the Fire and Rescue Service and taken by ambulance to the Garrick Community Hospital where she was examined and released after treatment for minor injuries.

The driver sustained a cut to his arm. The road at the scene was closed until cables were repaired and removed.
