Police Scotland report that a 34 year old man from Crocketford has been arrested and a report submitted to the Crown Officer Procurator Fiscal Service in relation to a sexual assault on a 40 year old woman in Dumfries on Saturday 25 June 2016.
Detective Sergeant Scott Torrance at Dumfries said “we have been pleased with the response from the public to our appeal for witnesses in this case and we continue the appeal that if anyone has any information which may assist then they should call us at Dumfries on 101.
