CYCLIST STRUCK BY HIT AND RUN DRIVER – A76 MENNOCK

Police Scotland is appealing for witnesses after a 53 year old male cyclist from Cargenbridge was stuck by a car while cycling on the A76 road near Mennock.

About 7am on Tuesday 29 May 2018 the man was cycling south on the A76 road, just south of the picnic area at Mennock, Sanquhar, when he was overtaken by a red coloured Skoda Fabia car.

The car struck the cyclist on the elbow and almost knocked him off his bike. The car did not stop after the incident.
