Isolated Property On Dalveen Pass Broken Into

Police Scotland officers are investigating a break-in to a house at Upper Dalveen, Durisdeer, Thornhill. The break-in happened sometime between Monday 25 September and Monday 2 October 2017. At this stage there does not appear to have been anything stolen, however the damage has been caused to the property which appears to have been searched through.

Constable Scott Graham at Thornhill said “We would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the Upper Dalveen area, or on the A702 in the area over the past week in case they saw or heard anything suspicious. The house sits alone on a farm track and is quite isolated. Anyone who may have any information which might help in this investigation is asked to call us at Thornhill on the 101 number.”
