DAMAGE CAUSED AS VANDALS HIT CONSTRUCTION SITE

Police Scotland is investigating a vandalism to a large cow shed which is under construction in the Baltersan area between Newton Stewart and Wigtown, Dumfries and Galloway. Sometime between Friday 21 and Monday 24 October 2016 damage was caused to a wooden aisle in the shed.

Constable Chloe Rice at Newton Stewart said this appears to have been a sustained act of vandalism and has caused considerable damage to the shed. Costs of the damage are not yet know and we are asking for the help of the community to get in touch if they were in the area over the weekend and saw anything suspicious. Police can be contacted about the matter at Newton Stewart on the 101 number.”
