Driver Caught With £2000 Worth Of Heroin On A76

POLICE reported that a male from Glasgow was arrested on Wednesday the 21 April 2021 after a car he was driving was stopped on the A76 just north of Dumfries by the Divisional Pro Active Team assisted by Divisional Roads Policing Officers.

Following a search of the male and the car, Heroin with a street value of over £2000 was recovered.

A report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal at Dumfries.
