D&G POLICE RECEIVE FIRST NEW VEHICLE WITH DUAL GAELIC AND ENGLISH LOGO

Dumfries and Galloway Police division showed off the first of their vehicles to feature the new Police Scotland dual language logo Yesterday.

The Ford Transit Van is the first vehicle in the region to show the new dual English and Gaelic languages Logo. Police Scotland first introduced the new bilingual logo back in September 2017.

The changes are being made as part of the force’s commitment to implementing its Gaelic Language Plan, which sets out the service’s pledge to creating a sustainable future for the language in Scotland by integrating it within Police Scotland’s services and corporate identity.
