Police Called To Dumfries Academy Incident

POLICE have responded to a report of an incident when a pupil had been injured at Dumfries Academy this morning Thursday 17th January 2019 at 10.00am.

A Police spokesperson stated “A 14 year old boy who is a pupil at the school suffered a minor injury that did not require any hospital treatment.
Enquiries are at an early stage and officers are working with staff and pupils to establish the circumstances.

There is no risk to any pupils or staff and the school day will continue.”
