42 Year Old Man Dies after Dumfries Bypass Collision

Dumfries and Galloway Police can confirm that a 42 year-old man has died in hospital following a road traffic collision on the A75, west of the Dromore roundabout in Dumfries.
The male driver, who can be named as Andrew Fisher, from Wallsend, Tyne and Wear, was involved in a one car road traffic collision around 9.05 am on Saturday 27 October 2018.
A woman and three children who were passengers in the vehicle were uninjured.
Sergeant Leigh McCulloch, Lockerbie Road Policing Unit, said:
Enquiries are ongoing to establish exactly what happened and we are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
“You may have seen the vehicle, a white Hyundai, driving on the A75 previous to the incident and have dash-cam footage that can help us.
“We ask that you come forward and contact us with any information.”
