POLICE APPEAL FOR WITNESSES TO DUNSCORE ROAD RAGE INCIDENT

Police are appealing for witnesses following a disturbance within Dunscore last week. At around 3:45 PM on Wednesday 3rd July 2019, two drivers became involved in a disturbance within the main street and one driver was allegedly assaulted.

Police are keen to identify a man, described as approx 6ft, overweight, bald, tattoos on both arms approx. 50-55 years old. The male was missing 3-4 of his top teeth and was driving a black 4×4 vehicle.

During the disturbance, delivery driver, driving a white van with red and blue markings on the side stopped at the scene and the driver of the black 4×4 vehicle then left the area.

Constable Allan Wells said “As part of our investigation into this incident, we are keen to identify the delivery driver who stopped to assist the victim, or anyone else who witnesses the disturbance. Additionally, anyone who believes they know the identify of the the man in the black 4×4 should contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 2283 of 3rd July 2019.
