Police Scotland reported that 25 year-old Dean McMenamin has received a 6 year Jail Sentence today November 2nd 2017. McMenamin targeted the victim within his own home in Ecclefechan, Dumfries and Galloway in February this year.
McMenamin forced his way into the victim’s home and thereafter threatened the victim and ordered him to hand over £9,000 in cash.
The 25 year-old had denied being involved during a trial at the High Court in Glasgow but he was found guilty of the assault and robbery as well as possessing an air pistol.
Today he was jailed for 6 years.
