£1000 Worth Of Equipment Stolen From Dumfries Golf Club

POLICE Officers in Dumfries are appealing for help in an investigation which saw equipment worth about £1000 stolen from the green keepers shed at the Dumfries and Galloway Golf Club on Laurieston Avenue in the town sometime overnight Thursday 21/Friday 22 June 2018. A green cargo box and a green roller were stolen in the raid.

Constable David Noble said, “These items are bulky and heavy and so more than one person would have been involved.
“We would like to hear from anyone who may have been around the area of the golf club on Thursday or Friday to get in touch if they can help. We are also carrying out door to door enquiries and CCTV footage is being reviewed.
“Callers can get in touch through the 101 number, quoting the reference number PDG 0135770618.”
