EXSTENSIVE DAMAGE CAUSED TO SHOP DURING ATTEMPTED BREAK IN

Annan police are investigating a break-in to the shop premises of Savers in the High Street in the town which happened at around 0334 hours on Friday 15 July 2016.  Although entry to the premises was gained, nothing appears to have been stolen.  There was extensive damage caused to the premises whilst gaining entry.

Constable Chris Kemp at Annan said “it seems that the alarm on the premises may have disturbed the intruders and as such they seem to have left empty handed.  We are keen to hear from anyone who may have been about the High Street area in the early hours of Friday to get in touch if they saw or heard anything suspicious.  We can be contacted at Annan through the 101 number.”
