Pensioner Killed In Fatal Road Collision – Lochans

POLICE SCOTLAND are appealing for witnesses that may of seen a collison  at 3.30 pm on Tuesday 13 November 2018 when a white coloured Peugeot 207 motor car was involved in a road traffic collision on the A77 Stranraer to Port Patrick Road, near to Lochans, Stranraer. 65 year old Trevor Potts from Portpatrick was pronounced dead at the scene.

Sergeant Bob McNay of the Roads Policing Unit said ” We are keen to speak with anyone who was in this area at that time and who may have information, or dash cam footage, regarding this incident. We are especially keen to speak with the driver of a vehicle travelling on the A77 heading towards Portpatrick, who we believe may have witnessed the incident, which was near to Craigenquarroch Farm, Lochans.
