Police Scotland is investigating the theft of around 700 litres of heating fuel, valued at around £350, from a tank in the Howcreek area of Cummertrees, Annan. The theft happened sometime between Wednesday 11 and Friday 20 October 2017.
Constable Tammy Smith “This theft has happened in a rural part of our beat and as such we want to hear from anyone in the Cummertrees area who may have seen anything suspicious over the past few weeks. We are keen to hear about any strange callers to isolated premises, or strange vehicles going about the area. Anyone who has any information which might help should call us on the 101 number.
