£800 Worth Of Gas Cylinders Stolen From Dumfries Depot

POLICE Officers in Dumfries want to trace two men responsible for the theft of gas cylinders from the premises of Solway Gas in King Street in the town.

The yard at the premises was entered by the men around 12.10am on Saturday 17th November and a number of 15kg and 7kg Calor Gas blue coloured cylinders stolen. The value of the cylinders is around £800.

Constable Pauling Kirk at Dumfries said, “Clearly there would have to be a vehicle involved in the removal of these cylinders and we are asking anyone who may have been in or around the King Street area in the early hours of Saturday morning if they saw or heard anything suspicious.
“There is no description of the two men seen at the premises. Callers can call us on the 101 number to pass on information and should use the reference number 0776 17/11 when calling.”
