On Sunday the 26th of January Emergency services were called out to attend a house fire in Dumfries. The Call turned out to be a Hoax.
Pollice along with Scottish Fire and rescue and the Scottish Ambulance Service all attended the aleged incident.
A Police Spokesperson stated “It was quickly confirmed that it was a hoax call. whilst the emergency services attended it meant other lives could have been at risk had a genuine emergency occurred!”
