Police in Dumfries are investigating a break-in to house in Torthorwald which happened sometime between Wednesday 15 and Friday 17 March 2017.
The raid took place while the occupier was away from home and it appears that items including bottles of Jack Daniels whiskey have been stolen.
Constable Lee-Ann Hawker at Dumfries said “once again we see a property which was left unoccupied getting broken into while the occupants were away from home.
“We are currently carrying out investigations and are keen to hear from anyone who may seen anything suspicious in the area. Anyone with any information can contact police at Dumfries on the 101 number, or if they wish to remain anonymous then through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
