POLICE are appealing for information after a 46 year old woman was found lying on the footpath in Galloway Street, Dumfries at around 8:45 PM, last night (Monday 1st April)
The woman was taken to Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary with a facial injury, however it is unclear how she sustained the injury. She has since been released from hospital.
Police are appealing for anyone who was in Galloway Street around that time and can assist police with their enquiries to contact Police Scotland on 101 quoting incident 3926 of 1st April
