Police Scotland is investigating an attempted break in to a house at The Howes, Annan on Wednesday 21 June 2017. About 1430 hours the owner of the house returned home to find a man at the rear of his home. When challenged the man ran off towards the A75. The man we want to trace didn’t hang about when disturbed and made off in the direction of the A75 road. The house sits on the edge of Annan and we are keen to hear from anyone who may have been on the B723 road or the A75 where they cross at the flyover around this time. We are also keen to hear about any suspicious sightings in this area, either of people or any vehicles which may have been parked in the area. Callers can contact police at Annan on the 101 number.
