POLICE Officers in Dumfries are investigating a break-in to a house in Dalbeattie Road in Dumfries. The break-in happened sometime overnight Sunday 14/Monday 15 January 2017. At this time is appears that a large sum of cash, approaching four figures has been stolen in the raid.
Constable John Donnelly said “We are carrying out door to door enquiries in the area. We want to speak to anyone who may have been in the area of the Dalbeattie Road on Sunday afternoon, evening, or into the early hours of Monday morning. Anyone who may have seen anything suspicious or any unusual activity in the area is asked to call Police Scotland on the 101 number, quoting PDG0011110118. Callers who want to remain anonymous can use the Crimestoppers number on 0800 555 111.”
