POLICE Officers in Lockerbie are seeking the help of the community to identify the following man after a report was received about him exposing his privates in the presence of a 12 year old girl in the town. The incident happened at around 3.45pm on Tuesday 22 January 2019, whilst the girl was making her way home from school along St Brydes Terrace in the town.
A man, described as white, about 40 years of age, average build, about 6′ tall, wearing a dark leather jacket, a grey hooded top with the hood up and navy jeans, passed the girl when she observed that his private parts were exposed. The girl reported the matter to her parents when she returned home.
Constable Stephen Glendinning said “We have been carrying out door to door in the area and are exploring the possibility that the man may have been captured on CCTV along the way. We are appealing to anyone who may have been along St Brydes Terrace yesterday afternoon around this time, or who can help us to identify this man through his description, to get in touch through the 101 number, quoting the reference number 2892 22/1.“
