Police in Dumfries are appealing for help from you in relation to a pile of male clothing found during the early hours of this morning on Devorgilla Bridge in Dumfries.
They were found in circumstances which may suggest that someone has entered the river at some stage. It is not clear if the person has intended to cause themselves harm or whether there is an innocent explanation.
Have you seen anyone at the Devorgilla Bridge (Mill Road side) during the night getting undressed or anyone in the water. If so, please let us know by phoning 101.
