POLICE INVESTIGATE MOFFAT PETROL STATION BREAKIN

POLICE Officers in Moffat are carrying out door to door enquiries and reviewing CCTV footage following a break-in at the Benmar Filling Station in the town.

The break-in is thought to have happened around 2am this morning, Monday 21 January 2019 when the alarm was activated.

At this stage it is not known what has been stolen. Anyone who may have been in the area of the filling station around this time is asked to call Police Scotland on the 101 number if they saw or heard anything suspicious. Callers should quote the reference number 0210 21/1.
