POLICE in Dumfries are appealing for witnesses after officers attended a report of a disturbance in Lewars Avenue in the town at around 8.20 pm on Monday 12th October.

A Police spokesperson stated “It’s believed between 5 – 8 people were involved and there was mention of a weapon having been seen.
