POLICE SCOTLAND are appealing for witnesses after a black Vauxhall Insignia car was set on fire in Maryholme Street, Dumfries around 2 am on Sunday morning, which has resulted in extensive damage being caused to the car.
Scottish Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the fire was started deliberately where the rear passenger window was smashed and fire started in the backseat.
