Police Are appealing for information after a Silver, Skoda Yeti Outdoor was observed overtaking a Morgan McLernon Articulated Lorry on the A75 near to its junction with B796, Gatehouse of Fleet in the face of an oncoming vehicle at around 11.18 hours, 17/02/2021, causing the lorry driver to take extensive evasive action.
A police spokesperson said “Shortly after this, the same vehicle, overtook a line of traffic on a blind corner near to the Teapot Café, Skyreburn and was met with an oncoming Black Volvo Estate, who appeared to have to stop on the road to avoid being struck.
Officers are trying to identify the driver of the Black Volvo Estate and any further persons that witnessed this incident.
