POLICE OFFICERS from Dumfries are appealing for witnesses after receiving a report that a parked and unattended vehicle was crashed into by another vehicle, the driver of which failed to stop and leave details.
A police spokesperson stated “Between 12.15 pm on Wednesday, a woman parked her Black Ford Fiesta on Shirley Road, Dumfries near to Scotmid.
On her return, a man approached her and advised her that a woman in a black car crashed into hers and drove off.
On examining her vehicle, the woman discovered moderate damage to the rear nearside.
