POLICE SCOTLAND are aware of motorists being flagged down by persons in the Kirkpatrick Fleming, Eaglesfield and Gretna areas who are claiming that their car has broken down and subsequently asking for money.
A police spokesperson stated “On September 16th officers seized one of the vehicles suspected to be involved however a Blue Volkswagen Passat displaying a foreign registration plate remains outstanding.
