Police Appeal Launched After Spate Of Thefts In Dumfries

POLICE in Dumfries are appealing for witnesses after two thefts from commercial premises in the town.

Around 11:20 PM on Tuesday 23rd April 2019, a customised power washer, valued at £2,000 was stolen from the industrial site in Brownrigg Loaning.

In a second theft, £1,700 worth of vehicle parts including Alloy wheels and used car batteries were stolen from Arnold Clark on Annan Road around the same time.

Constable Gemma Mazur said “We know these thefts took place shortly after one another and we believe they are linked. As part of our investigation we are keen to speak to anyone that saw a white Transit van in the area or three males, all described as slim build and wearing dark clothing.
