POLICE Officers in Dumfries recovered thousands of pounds worth of drugs from a vehicle on the M74 on Wednesday 7 July.
Around 3.30pm on Wednesday 7 July, a car was stopped near J16, Johnstonebridge and herbal cannabis worth around £130,000 was discovered. A 52-year-old woman and two men, aged 38 and 18, were arrested in connection with this incident.
Detective Inspector Dean Little from Dumfries CID said: “This is a significant amount of illegal drugs that have been removed from circulation and can no longer cause harm.
