POLICE OFFICERS are issuing a warning to the public and business owners across Dumfries and galloway after they have had a report of a male tendering suspected counterfeit Clydesdale Bank £50 note in the Annan area.
A police spokesperson stated “The male is described as 6ft 2inches tall, dark hair, black thick beard, a green & black fleece with white on the front, blue jeans & brown shoes.
Please be alert for anyone buying low value items with high denomination notes. Contact Police on 101 if you have any information”
