POLICE in Dumfries are warning shopkeepers to be aware of fake £20 notes. This comes after two males were in Dumfries this afternoon, Thursday 18th, April 2019 trying to buy low value items with fake £20’s.
A police spkesperson descirbes the males as –
“1. 25 to 25 years of age, white, wearing a yellow baseball cap, green t-shirt with a wasp or bee logo, knee length brown shorts, and spoke with an English accent.
2. 20 years of age, with a slight beard, and wearing a bright red baseball cap, dark jeans, and spoke with an English accent.
