POLICE from Dumfries and Galloway Joined Officers from Police Scotland’s Road Policing Units and Road Policing Units from Northumbria and Cumbria Constabularies on Thursday 29th and Friday 30th August 2019 in a joint operation aimed to tackle criminals use of the road network between England and Scotland.
A Police Spokesperson stated “During the two days over a hundred vehicles were stopped and a numerous road traffic offences were detected, including a driver arrested for driving under the influence of drugs, stolen vehicle recovered and an offender arrested for recall to prison.”
