POLICE OFFICERS in Dumfries are investigating a number of thefts from cars in the Ashfield Drive, Portland Drive, Loch Road and Lochfield Road area of the town which have occurred on recent nights.
A police spokesperson stated “In total we are aware that 8 cars have been entered and had property removed.
If you think you may have had items stolen from your vehicle in recent days please contact Dumfries Police and quote reference number 0565 of 19 October 2020.
Furthermore, please make sure that you do not leave any items on view in your vehicle overnight and ensure that it is locked.”
