It is now over six months since 74 year old, missing man Gavin Tait from Wigtown near Newton Stewart in Dumfries was last seen.
An extensive serach of the region was carried out on April 2019 and a Video Appeal from the police was issued, view by clicking HERE.
In a new statement from Police Scotland this week (September 29th 2019) a Police Spokesperson said “Despite extensive searches, no trace of Gavin has been found. We are now releasing more recent images of Gavin, taken in 2009, to see if this helps identify any new leads as to where he may be. Anyone with information is asked to phone 101 quoting incident number 1731 of 06/04/2019.”
