About 9.30pm on Wednesday 12 July 2017, a three vehicle road traffic collision happened on the A709 near to Slacks farm, Lochmaben.
A white coloured Renault Megane car being driven by a 28 year old man from Dumfries, a blue New Holland tractor being driven by a 22 year old man from Lochmaben and a black coloured Vauxhall Astra were involved in the collision.
The tractor and the Renault Megane were damaged as a result. No-one was injured. The occupants of the black Astra car stopped to check if everyone was alright before leaving the scene.
Constable Lloyd Caven said “we would like to speak with the occupants of the Astra car, only described a two young males as they are potential whiteness to the collision. I would also appeal to anyone else who may have witnessed the collision to call us at Lockerbie on the 101 number.
