POLICE in Dumfries are appealing for witnesses after an old bus was set on fire in Catherinefield Industrial estate.
The bus was seen undamaged around 4pm on Monday 14th and found burnt out around 8am on Tuesday morning.
Constable Craig Murray based in Dumfries said, “Although the bus was due to be scrapped and had little value, it is concerning that someone has set fire to it. The vehicle has been completely destroyed by the blaze and I would appeal to anyone with any information to contact Police Scotland on the 101 number quoting incident 0586 of 15th January.
