DETECTIVES in Dumfries are investigating after a 20 year old man was left with serious injuries following a disturbance within a property in Cresswell Gardens in the town. The man was treated for his injuries at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary but was later released.
The incident is understood to have taken place between 6:30 – 7 PM on Monday 1st April 2019 and police are keen to trace two males seen in the area at the time. They are described as
Male 1 – 5’10, slim, wearing black jacket/tracksuit top, black bottoms and had short dark hair
Male 2 – 5’4, slim, wearing all dark clothing with a black hat
Detective Sergeant Andrew McDowall of Dumfries CID said “This has been a significant disturbance and the victim has sustained some very serious injuries. A team of Detectives are now carrying out a number of inquiries in relation to this matter in order to ensure the perpetrators are quickly apprehended. I would ask anyone who has information that may assist our investigation to contact Police Scotland on 101 as a matter of urgency.
