Police Scotland report that a 40-year-old man from Annan is currently in a serious but stable condition at Dumfries and Galloway Royal Infirmary following an incident at a house in Thomas Street in Annan on Sunday 14th October.

The man is being treated in respect a number of serious injuries.

A 45-year-old man from Stranraer has been arrested in connection with the matter and a report is being prepared for the Procurator Fiscal.
