Police in Castle Douglas have reported receiving several calls regarding a male in the town attempting to change £20 notes to other denominations in local shops.
At this time the males current location is unknown.
Police want to speak to this male and establish if any offences have been committed and the public are asked to assist in tracing him.
He is described as:
Male possibly Eastern European appearance, mid 20s, 5’6″, wearing a dark top with silver writing on rear and grey jogging bottoms, spoke in broken English.
