Police Probe Theft of Valuable Caravan – Moffat

POLICE SCOTLAND Officers are seeking assistance in the investigation into the theft of a caravan from Moffat on Sunday 12 August 2018. Sometime between 5.35pm and 9pm on Sunday night a Sterling Cruach Ben Lomond caravan was stolen from the driveway of a property on the Old Edinburgh Road in Moffat. The caravan is a 2010 model and valued in the region of £9000.

Constable Calum Benson said “we are interested in hearing from anyone in Moffat who may have seen or heard anything suspicious at all on Sunday. In particular we are interested in tracing the two male occupants of a white coloured Ford Ranger which had a 67 registration plate. This vehicle was seen in the area around 5.35pm and again near the scene of the theft at around 6pm. Also, we would like to trace a small white coloured van which may have been in the area shortly after 6pm.
