POLICE officers in Sanquhar are investigating a theft which took place at Burnside Service Station on Glasgow Road in the town on Friday 17 May 2019.
About 2.45am on Friday morning the collection tray of the air machine at the Burnside Service Station was forced open and the contents, a small amount of cash, was stolen.
Constable Michael Briody said, “We want to trace the driver of a dark coloured Audi car which was seen at the machine around the time of the theft. The driver is described as being very tall and slim and was wearing tracksuit bottoms and top, trainers and a baseball cap.
“Anyone who can help with this investigation should call police on the 101 number quoting the reference number 1892 17/5.”
